recipes

A few recent vegetarian recipes we made up:

Polenta Pizzas
Slices of polenta: some were plain and some were (I think) garlic/Italian/sundried tomato-y
We made three kinds. All started with a bit of olive oil and got baked in the oven. I'm thinking broiling might work even better.
1. spaghetti sauce (Seeds of Change organic garden vegetable sauce), canned mushrooms, a tiny bit of parmesan cheese, (would have added black olives if I had any)
2. fresh salsa (tomato/pepper-onion), cilantro, garlic powder
3. pesto, fresh sliced roma tomato

Thai-ish Slaw
Cabbage/carrots mix already shredded because I cannot be trusted to shred things and keep my fingers
Fresh garlic
Sweet onion
Cilantro
Cashews
Red wine vinegar
Olive oil
Agave syrup
Curry
Soy sauce

Hey - how long did you bake your polenta pizzas? or how long would you recommend broiling? cuz that looks fun, and we have some polenta that we don't know what to do with. :)
(oh, just realized that was 2 1/2 years ago. oops.)
