ornaments

These are not crab rangoons. But that's what they remind me of.

This is folded cardstock, which then gets covered with thin sheets of polymer clay and baked.

Voila! Fabulous, lightweight ornaments.

Uno and Dar

Uno cards signed by Dar Williams, originally uploaded by divadea.
So we got to the Dar concert over 2 hours early - hey, we needed good seats! We stopped at the CVS to get something to do while we waited, and as fate would have it, the new deck of Uno cards comes with 4 blank cards. Well, there were four of us, and now we have 4 precious cards signed by Dar. Yay!

The new Uno is apparently for illiterate people, as it has all pictures and no words. Wild, reverse, skip - they're all textless. What's up with that?
